deleted notification subscription still sends Alert emails

Hi

I have SCOM R2 running on Windows 2008 server. I have problem with a
notification subscription for the SCCM management pack.
The subscription continued to send alert email even when it is disabled.
And, I have deleted the sunscription and the Channel used by that now.
However, I still have the alert emails sent out.

I have tried restarting the config service ont he RMS (there is only one
management server).

Any help to rectify this would be highly appreciated.

This issue is resolved now. The issue was with the configuration file was
not getting updated.
