CRM 4.0 MOM 2005 to SCOM MP conversion

Hi,

I used the mp2xml and mpconvert tool to convert the mom 2005 crm 4.0 mp to a
scom 2007 sp1 compatible mp.
During the conversion with mpconvert some warnings appear stating: The
following discovery coul not be converted
propertly.......................This typically indicates a script populated
computer group.

I am not sure wheather the converted file can still be used/imported in the
SCOM 2007 sp1 management group for CRM 4.0 monitoring.

Hello Daniel,
I dont think converting MP is the best idea or supported for the long run.
Instead review the MOM 2005 MP and create the rules and monitors you need
in Ops MGr. That normally work much better.

Will Microsoft create a MP for SCOM 2007R2? If not, what solution is
available? I am in the same boat and need this capability soon.

I have the same problem and do not have a MOM 2005 installation that I can
"review" the settings in. Are there no plans for a SCOM management pack for
Dynamics?
